Qualifications
European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Qualifications (British Computer Society):
ATS Community Employment is approved to deliver a variety of qualifications through a variety of Awarding Bodies. We are able to make some qualifications available to ‘Private’ candidates. These qualifications include: Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy accredited by the City & Guilds (C&G) and the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS). These qualifications are unfunded and so a charge has to be made, but they are available at competitive rates.
Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy (C&G):
ATS can provide on-line testing for Adult Literacy qualifications at Level 1 & Level 2 and for Adult Numeracy at Entry Level 3, Level 1 & Level 2 at any of our centres. Following agreement between the candidate and our Qualifications Manager, where costs and payments are agreed, candidates are registered with the C&G and can take their tests, usually within three working days. Candidates do have to attend one of our centres to take the end of assessment and a score report will be available immediately following the assessment, before the candidate leaves the centre. Candidates will have to show proof of identity before taking any assessment. Details of our centre locations can be found on our contact page and arrangements for assessments can be discussed in advance with our Qualifications Manager.
